Attic Doors

I am trying to make a door which opens like an attic door.



This door is closed and i want it to move upwards. Preferably till they are like 160 degrees around meaning leaning outwards. Something like this:



What are the right settings for a rotating door to work this way ?

by default the door rotates on the z axis, to make it rotate on the x or y axis there is a spot to check off under the Flags in properties window.

Yours seems to be on the x axis.
then you can set the distance the door opens



try that and see if it helps, make sure you got the fgd file from here
