yes , use the entity in tommy's version of the fgd (env_snow)

It's a point entity. pick it from list and place one in your map, and the snow will fall from all brushes with the sky texture on it. (covered on all sides) Smile

Make a brush to the size, shape you want then texture with a water texture (must be water texture on all sides of brush or an compile error will come up), tie to entity func_water, Render mode= Texture,fx amount 0 -255 depending on how transparent you want water, also other perameters if you choose: waves, flow,etc.....
