hey im currently learning how to use VHE, so ive started to do a map of my school. its a pretty big school, sounds really strange but it be awesome. its a Natural selection map with story behind it and everything. anyway, to the point. the terrain of the school is on a gradual slope downards, not too steep, and at some places it begins to even out (less of slope) and then gets steeper etc. question, what would be the best way to do this?

appreciate any help

There's a new tool for manipulating terrain with the new HAMMER.

Select the Texture Application tool

click on the "Displacement" tab

click "Create"

click on "Paint Geometry"

now you can right and left click and raise and lower your terrain.

hav fun!

you get it with the purchase of half life 2 and or a source engine game.

just for making terrain and or ramps in hammer 3.5 just use the vertex manipulation tool.
