hey i tryed doing it by your tutorial's and i still dont get it. would it help if i had a sky texture cuz i cant find one besides the gfx/env ones, but how do i use them

I DONT HAVE A SKY texture thats the hole thing u guyz are talking abouta sky texture where do i get the sky texture i cant find it on my texture browser

you do have sky texture the sky-texture is part of the halflife.wad file. It's only a little blue square.
Go to cstrike\gfx\env here u got the textures,go to your map properties and put in the name of any file under your gfx/env directory

It's still called the hlalife.wad I'm sure. check in vavle folder if you have one. You can also check other wads for a texture with the name sky
it's in there somewhere.
