If your looking for map Ideas Slackiller entertain this one a little

The exclusion zone around Chernobyl.People just ran out after the nuclear accident in 1986,abandonded cities hastily evacuated.heres some links to pics of the area

It looks good...
but where can I get gas-mask models?

Im in the mood of making urban maps, with abendond areas. So mayb if I have the right Tex's Ill be abke to put it all together. Slckiller will do It much better I know but yet Razz

Is this realy how the place looks now?

and,
do you know this map where you need to climb a big mounten? I saw it but I dont know its name...

Yeah it's going to be contaminated for a long time the half-life for plutonium is 24,200 years.Pretty sad That radiation has entered into the gene pool of the people there.That's one of the worst possible outcomes imaginable

I like smiles icon_joy I downloaded a whole mess of texture .wads from all the mapping sites I could find including doener kings textures that i could get,and blazeeer textures and I still cant find that rusty bathroom type tile you used on de_vine and I also seen that tile on de_wastefacility from TheDoenerKings http://www.lanmaniax.com/maps/html/de_wastefacility.htm

where did you get them I got the max payne official texture pack(40mb)and I did'nt see them?they weren't in wad form did I get the wrong one?

I think it's very cool that you help people with there questions icon_dance

i'll put de_vine wad upsome are mine(textures) some are just from misc. wads,and combined into my wad.

You can get the gas mask from Opposing force.
Also a new game almost ready for release is set in Chernoybl.

It looks like it will have dynamic skyboxes, showing cloud movent , sun movement and even lightning storms. Its gonna be basically SP only though, some MP may come out but unlike Half-Life its not aiming for MP.
